1990: I began my career in video, and television production as a professional cameraman providing this among other production expertise at Denver 8 Television.

I learned camera operation, rigging, lighting, audio, and editing. I've picked up some other professional skills along the way for decades as a freelancer.

The station is in the Denver Colorado news market.  Both in-studio and on location, as well all types of camera expertise in video, as well television production.

I learned photography while in college and have kept up with the skill, professionally and as a hobby. I have operated cameras since the tethered 3/4 and one inch, to film, through SD, HD to modern day technology, From SD, HD, 4K to 8K, 3p film, as well with other cameras.

Also using & owning camera support gear in lighting, grip, among other equipment. Call on me as an experienced director of photography or for professional photographer services.

I have several cameras and support gear, and all the other needed gear. I can operate your camera, a rental camera, or assist as an operator or AC as needed. I can bring a small to large camera crew to assist on a production.

Video Production, Film or Television

I have expertise and have helped several broadcast networks around the world with freelance photojournalist services as a ENG cameraman, as well providing ENG video crews.

I also have shot and produced several other types of programs for cable networks and broadcast TV. I have also helped with web advertising and video for other platforms.

Film production includes for documentaries, commercials and independent films. As well larger scale features.

I can produce any type of video, broadcast program or film for clients.

Storyboard & Concept Artist + Artist

I've been an artist since being able to draw and paint and am hired to make storyboards in drawing, painting, and in digital formats.

I also am a skilled concept artist and character design, and can create world for set design or other need. I am also a traditional artist and digital artist available for commission (for hire).

I draw & illustrate storyboards; an artist since my youth. I also enjoy art in my spare time, or it can be put to use on your production.

I also draw concept art, paint, using other traditional or digital media to create.

Director of Photography

I became skilled as a director of photography in College as I learned film camera operation. I have used 35mm formats in commercials, documentaries and other productions. 35mm film is not as popular 35mm imager format cameras, from 4K upwards. I have won peer awards including Emmy, Accolade, Telly and Beacon awards.

There are more limitations in filming with motion picture cameras so I evolved to modern 4K and larger format cameras. Film also degrades and must be kept cool and in the dark. Film also dictates lighting equipment needs.

I also learned 35mm SLR photography aside from motion picture film. I'm expert in both DSLR and modern mirror-less cameras as well. With several production options.

Cameraman

I became skilled as a cameraman and in other production skills professionally. The term cameraman is just a nickname for a videographer in male gender. Starting in the 90's. Also during college, applied college internships and work experience.

I have also kept this skill going professionally as a freelance cameraman. I have stuck with camera formats changing and have worked as a freelance cameraman for decades. I can also write scripts, treatments, production outlines and also draw storyboards to plan out a production more for clients.
