Storyboard Artist

Nick Teti III, About

I’ve been an artist since I could draw in my youth, leaning drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, digital art and working other mediums. I also have an art history background so if you ask me to make art is the Dadaism style, I could do so. Art is my primary passion for media, but I also love making video, photographs and other media too. I have a formal university degree as a BA in art. Majoring in Journalism and a minor in Art from MSU Denver.

Prior to graduation I had relevant jobs and internships in college, and also prior experience in making art since grade school. If you need a storyboard or concept artist whom is just as enthusiastic, call me, 1 720 299-2084

I can also incorporate camera movement with symbols or imply it in the storyboards by implying motion. Comic books or graphic novels are an example depicting motion without symbols such as arrows.

Advertising Humor

A good laugh from a client or potential customer can remind them of your products or services. In personification using created animated characters have been used for decades to sell products. The Pillsbury Doughboy, Tony The Tiger, Charlie the Tuna, Chester Cheetah are a few characters that have been used for decades.

Characters and ones that compel an audience to action; to buy something are thought up by brilliant advertisers.  Concept artwork is used in character and set design. Sometimes in tandem with a script or treatment.

Advertising Storyboards

Advertising campaigns that drive TV commercials, programs, movies often reply on a storyboard artist. The storyboard like me, may also be a concept artist. A concept artist is tasked with character design, set design and making other elements as needed.

Product Recognition

Logos can be designed by a concept artist or graphic designer. They may also be developed by ownership, senior managers and my collaborate with a design team. After a brand is established and is in production storyboards are used to convey to the video crew direction.

Storyboards can direct the crew for placement, motion, product purposes or benefits among other uses. These ideas have to be brought to commercials,  advertisements and through other media platforms to be seen. A storyboard artist is relied on to bring the narrative to an audience. Often showing the product, service or amenity in use.

Use of Color to make art

Color can be used for time and location depiction. And to convey a mood or theme. It can be subtly used to catch the eye with vibrance in a product or place. Dull and muted colors can also be used to convey themes, times, enhance events or diminish something.
